Champagne Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients:-


(Makes about 3 cups of frosting. Spread over your favourite vanilla cupcake)

3 cups powdered sugar
1 cup butter (at room temperature)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 tablespoons champagne (at room temperature)
3 drops red food colouring (optional)
Milk for consistency.

Method:-


1. With an electric mixer, beat together sugar and butter.

2. Mix in low until well blended, and then on medium for another two minutes.

3. Add Vanilla, Champagne and optional red food colouring, beating on medium for another minute.

4. If you want thinner frosting, beat in milk one tablespoon at a time until you reach the desired consistency.

5. For thicker frosting, mix in more powdered sugar one tsbp at a time until thick
